The Calgary Construction Association believes that giving youth an opportunity to work in the construction industry is a solid investment. The association understands the importance of educating youth about the diverse and rewarding paths that are available within our industry. Through a successful partnership with Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry, the Youth Employment Program was created to encourage employers to take on unemployed or under employed youth in a three week work experience. This agreement allows opportunity for youth to access careers in construction while allowing the employer to access the individual for possible employment.
