2019 Field Leadership Institute

FMI

For over 65 years, FMI has served the engineering and construction infrastructure and the built environment as a trusted advisor. Complexity and change are constant challenges in today’s business environment, especially in the construction and design industry. Now, more than ever, your company needs strong, effective field leaders. You need skills, self-awareness and the ability to engender trust and respect from those you lead.

Together with FMI, the Calgary Construction Association is proud to bring the Field Leadership Institute to Canada for the first time in April 2019. This institute, designed for construction industry professionals including project managers, superintendents, foreman and other leaders, is a tightly structured three-day program in which individuals examine themselves and the impact they have on their organizations through a variety of hands-on, interactive experiences.

Over three days, attendees will receive personal assessments for individual development, encounter experiential leadership activities, learn how to give and receive effective feedback, discover the importance of building trust to form high-performing teams, understand the power of field leaders, and realize the essential leadership skills for field leaders.
