CCA's Ninth Annual
Construction Career Expo 2015

The Calgary Construction Association’s ninth annual Construction Career Expo took place on April 22, 2015 and welcomed 2,600 students! The Expo encouraged students to explore options for careers in construction and to learn about the industry in a hands on way. Some of the displays included brick laying, roofing, and virtual simulations.

Students participated in a construction quiz that tested their knowledge about what they learned throughout the day and allowed them to interact with the representatives at their respective booths. All of the quizzes were submitted into a draw to win an i-pod mini, which gave the students further incentive to participate and interact throughout the day.

CCA would like to thank the many sponsors, exhibitors and volunteers who took the time to come out to make this day such a success!

CCA's Construction Career Expo is also on the CTV News! View the coverage from the Expo HERE (The story starts at 33:30).
