Halloween Cheer from CCA

The CCA team had a great time celebrating Halloween! Endless sugary treats were enjoyed as we welcomed visitors into the "scary" CCA office. CCA also had a few four legged visitors join in the festivities. We hope that you and yours enjoyed the Halloween spirit as well.

Back Row: Vampire Apprentice Lorna, Queen of Souls Mary, Police officer Toni, Bubblebee Johnny, Slap Chop guy Aaron. Front Row: Supergirl Amy, Masquerader Jade, and Ladybug Osito. Missing: Photographer Dave

Gold Seal Success Story, Jesse Cubberley

On behalf of Calgary Construction Association, congratulations to Jesse Cubberley who is this month’s Gold Seal Success Story. Jesse is currently a Superintendent for Ventana Construction Corporation.
After six long years of dedication and hard work, Jesse earned his Gold Seal Certification in April 2016. His company proudly sponsored him to write his exam by covering the cost for his exam and education.
When asked what he would say to others considering earning their Gold Seal Certification, he responded: “I feel great! I feel like I accomplished what I set out to do. It was a long journey and I’m very proud of myself. So, set your goals, do whatever it takes, and push yourself to do it. It’s not easy, but in the end, it’s well worth it and very rewarding.”
Well done Jessie!

The codes also apply to all other new buildings, including commercial, industrial and high-rise buildings.
They allow for the safe use of new technologies that reduce energy waste and combat climate change.
