We are deeply troubled by the extent of destruction of communities affected by the wildfires currently raging in British Columbia. As a member-centric association and as an industry we must step up and help in all ways possible to support those affected e.g. through volunteerism, or provision of supplies, equipment, un-used camp accommodations and /or financial donations. Here4BC was created in an effort to bring the construction industry together, from companies to associations throughout Canada to support those who have been displaced, lost homes, businesses and much more as a result of these wildfires.

Government of Alberta's Capital Investment Tax Credit
As part of the Alberta Jobs Plan, the Alberta government has invested $70 million in Alberta's Capital Investment Tax Credit (CITC) for manufacturing, processing and tourism infrastructure that will spur economic diversification and job creation. The CITC is a 2-year program that provides a non-refundable tax credit valued at 10% of a corporation’s eligible capital expenditures, up to $5 million.
The CITC encourages companies to make timely capital investments by returning a percentage of the company’s costs, including the purchase of machinery, equipment and buildings. If your company is considering expansion by investing in new capital machinery, equipment, or buildings, please consider this opportunity.
For more information on the CITC, including eligibility requirements, please visit the CITC website. Questions can also be sent to CITC.firstname.lastname@example.org as well.
Please note, the application period intake for the CITC will only be open till September 8th, 2017.
