The Calgary Construction Association serves as a resource to Calgary’s institutional, commercial and industrial construction community. Members of the Calgary Construction Association represent industry professionals in the categories of general contracting, trade contracting, manufacturers and suppliers, and allied professional services.
2017 MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & FEES
The members of the Association shall be classified in accordance with one of the following categories and membership fees are based on:
A. The construction volume for General Contractors in the Calgary and district area during 2016B. The construction volume for Trade Contractors in the Calgary and district area during 2016C. Sales volume to the construction industry for Manufacturers and SuppliersD. A fixed fee for Allied Professional Services
A general contractor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a construction site, management of vendors and trades, and communication of information to involved parties throughout the course of a building project.
A sub-contractor who specializes in a particular aspect of a construction project such as electrical, plumbing, etc.
Manufacturers and suppliers provide materials and manufactured goods necessary for construction.
Those professionals serving in roles tangential to the construction of a project such as lawyers, bonding/insurance specialists, etc.
Membership fees are based on calendar year.
New member fees will be prorated.
